Soft and supple cream colored antelope skin and dark chocolate colored deerskin bag with a flap for security. A medallion of turquoise colored buffalo hide is centered on the flap. In the middle of the medallion is a dark chocolate colored deerskin (Kokopelli) design. Also on the medallion are tiny metal rings, and tiny turquoise beads.
This bag also has two pockets one in the back and the other one is under the flap.
Hanging from the sides on braided artificial sinew are bone tubes, and discs, jasper beads, hand carved jade beads, metal spacers, sea shell beads, turquoise nuggets, glass seed beads, two large ceramic beads, Very old Ghana Krobo recycled glass African trade beads, and old Krobo fancy powder glass trade beads.
This bag is laced entirely with artificial sinew using decorative stitching.
This bag is signed and dated by the artist Tammy Phillips (that's me). I design, cut and lace these bags myself.
The bag measures 8 inches wide X 10 inches long. The extra long strap is approximately 92 inches long from end to end. The gusset is about 1 1/2 inch at the widest.
