This vintage box was meant for storing slides. The style is art deco. You can see the numbers along side the slide slots. The silver sticker on the side says "DOUBLE 50 FRAME HOUSTON 35MM FILM MOUNTS SEE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE." The bottom of the box says "MFG. BY THE HOUSTON COPR. LOS ANGELES 25 CALIF. PAT APL'D FOR." It measures 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" x 2 1/4".
