I kept thinking of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the color purple so I did this modern sort of Hippie version of my vision. I really love how she turned out - I have never painted this way before. Ilike that Mary is sort of in silhouette against all the bold colors. I used acrylic paint and silver metallic marker for her stars and outline. I re-purposed an old wood wine box lid too. This is a one of a kind original, never to be repeated as always.
Measures 13 x 7½" and is ¾" thick. I aso painted on the sides so you do not need a frame. I sprayed a light coat of acrylic sealer on top too.The word 'Pray' says it all. Everything works with prayer - everyone heals through prayer and to me Art is Prayer and this is my prayer to Our Most Holy Mother.
