This Cake Plate is in perfect vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or any other flaw. It looks so pretty alone or stacked with other milk glass items or clear cut glass or crystal items. The detail/design on the top of the plate is in a Straburst pattern with Circles/Dots and all or pressed or indented on the top. The base has a vertical ribbed design from top to bottom on the fluted stand.
This cake stand is not marked but is without a doubt Anchor Hocking. It is very similar to one of their other stands which has a painted gold dot design on it but I prefer the simple clean design this cake plate has.
Regardless of your decor or style, Milk Glass looks beautiful anywhere you decide to use it. The crisp & clean whiteness looks great in any Shabby Chic home or a modern or mid century modern abode.
