Here my hand carved Tide design is a single charm on a simple brass chain. I form, cure and carve the charm out of polymer clay. After curing the piece is carved again, distressed with acrylic paint and buffed for a a soft sheen.
The lobster clasp connects to a nice size brass circle making it easy to close. And there's a very small brass teardrop at the clasp that mimics the Tide charm for interest at the back of the neck.
The chain itself is 18" and the focal charm adds about another inch or so.
(I would be happy to size this down to 16" or up to 20" if you'd like.)
