This altered art journal is perfect for scribbling musings, composing poetry or documenting your travel adventures. The journal consists of salvaged Reader's Digest book covers, ivory acid-free coverstock paper and vintage ephemera. A genuine vintage photo of a woman with her pet bird was used to decorate the top cover. Ribbon and rhinestones were used as embellishments. On the inside covers are two envelopes to store small mementos. The binder ring model allows easy addition and removal of pages. Each one of my journals is a one of a kind piece of functional art, full of imaginative detail. As a writer myself, I have always sought out unique journals that inspire me to create. I hope this journal will do that for you!
