This is a unique vintage duck planter from Japan. This duck planter is dressed to go out on the town, because he is wearing a top hat and bowtie. I have never seen a planter like this. This planter is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks in this duck planter. This duck planter measures about 4-1/4" x 2-5/8 x 7-3/4" tall at the top hat and 2-5/8" tall at the tail. The hole for the planter is about 2-1/4" x 1-3/4". There are some blemishes on this piece, and this piece needs a gentle cleaning. I have not identified the mark on the bottom of this piece, but I can say with 95% certainty that this is a Pre-World War II piece. If anyone happens to know the maker's mark on the bottom of this piece, please email to let me know. Please see all of the photos for more information on this piece.
