This dish is based on several Persian examples of flasks and costrels found the in the Middle East between 9th and 11th Century. I used modern stamping techniques, a stoneware base, thrown and fired all by myself. All the research as well as the firing was done by me.

Colors are all historically researched and are greens and blacks on this particular piece.

It measures about 6" across and 1" deep (roughly). From base to lip it is roughly 7" tall.

Everything is food safe, as well as it being microwaveable.
