Queen Teuta, the pirate queen of Illyria in ancient times, was a fearsome and especially cunning leader who ruled famously after her husband, King Agron, died. A descendent of the ancient Sea People, Queen Teuta had a warrior spirit and quickly took the reins of government and almost immediately turned the Illyrian navy into a privateer fleet. She is famous for her beauty, leadership and intelligence.
This feather headdress has a milky blue, iridescent labradorite eye embedded in imitation alligator leather that is molded to the face. Inside the eye patch, it is padded for comfort. Plumes of brilliant turquoise, purple and cobalt feathers adorn the right side of the face. The headdress tightens with a small black strap.
