The dictionary page on the tile is the ***ORIGINAL*** vintage page from the 1951 dictionary -- not a reproduction, scan, or photocopy -- making this a "One of a Kind" (OOAK) item that I cannot reproduce. I distressed the torn page edges with blood red permanent ink. Two rub-on bat images and one black rubber-stamped bat image adorn the tile.
The 4" x 4" coaster is made of smooth, dark cream travertine marble tile with a slightly mottled/marbled pattern that includes hints of pale browns, tans, and grays. The tile is sealed with 3 coats of Mod Podge followed by an additional 2 coats of acrylic spray sealer. Four felt pads are attached to the bottom of the coaster to protect the surfaces of your tables. The back of the coaster contains my signature, the year, my website address, and the stamp image's copyright information.
To clean the coaster, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The coaster is not intended to withstand extreme heat, so do NOT use it as a trivet for hot food dishes. The coaster works perfectly for both hot and cold beverages or as a display piece (e.g., for Halloween).
You will receive the exact vampire bat marble tile drink coaster pictured. The coaster will be carefully packaged and shipped via USPS Priority Mail (Small Flat Rate Box) with Delivery Confirmation.
