If you ever traveled through the Ozarks in the 50s and 60s you would have seen hand-blown art glass like this for sale in road-side stands, along with the chenille bedspreads and watermelons. This piece is not marked but is typical of the glass I used to see in Arkansas. It is quite heavy with a beautiful swirl pattern and uneven scalloped edge. It is 11" tall, 8" wide at the top and 4" at the base. It weighs a little over 2 1/2 pounds. it is in beautiful condition with just a couple of tiny rough spots around the base.
