this use to belong to the lady who is now aged 67. she decided to clean her attic and she sorted things out. i now have her vintage products - all created and made by japanese craft people. this box was kept by her grandmother who was born in 1905.
this plates are created with a technique called urushi nuri. japanese pine lacquer coated plates. there is one bone fork left. but plates are 5 pcs and all in good condition. the box is made from paper wrapped with fabric. look nostalgic.
not recommended to put in dishwasher. no modern soap or modern sponge. if possible, wipe with paper and linse with warm water to clean. then dry with fine cloth.
