This is an upcycled small dish featuring an homage to Lionel Richie ( who some of you may only know as Nicole's dad.) This is a tribute to the HELLO video in which a blind girl sculpts his face in clay. They just don't make 'em like they did in the 80s!! This small plate measures 6 1/4 inches wide-- great funny gift, perfect for a desk or dresser: you'll never lose your keys again!

Each dish is made individually and slight differences are a result of the handmade nature of the piece. I partner with a local charity and rescue dishes such as this from destruction--a process that helps people and the environment! I then restore the glaze surface to as close to new condition as possible before further altering the item and firing it in my kiln a final time. This particular set is vintage corningware. Corning has a very specific surface treatment and small imperfections to the surface still remain-visible only when you hold the item up to the light and turn it--reflecting the handmade nature of the item. Each plate was kiln fired twice to 1900 degrees. It was made using all lead free, non toxic, eco friendly materials.
