It is beaded onto bead backing with a brass cuff blank inside. The back is a black Ultrasuede. The bracelet is adjustable and measures 8'' x 2".
Every year one of the largest bead shows in the country takes place in Milwaukee, WI. The host hotel of the Bead & Button show houses the Miller Time Pub, where their logo is of a woman sitting on a crescent moon. This bracelet was inspired by that place and that event.
This cuff was for the September challange of the Etsy Beadweavers Team. Kinga, winner of the July "Tangerine Tango" challenge has selected our upcoming September theme.
Here's what Kinga has to say about the challange: According to the farmer's almanac, the full moon of September is called the Harvest Moon.
This month, let's get inspired by the moon. Your piece doesn't have to directly portray the moon, but it should be inspired it. May the inspiration be it's light, it's movement, it's color, or anything moon related, like a beautiful carved cabochon with a smiling moon or a moonstone focal, you are free to experiment . Be a bit of a lunatic and go wild. Is it made of out cheese, are there mice on it, does it make you dance or howl when it's face shines on you? Let's celebrate the end of this busy summer by creating some beaded lunar wonder that the man on the moon would be proud of!
