'Here comes the Sun'...and what a happy one too! This sterling silver brooch is of course, a happy faced Sun figural pin. With such an expression of joy this brooch might be just the thing to brighten up anybodies day!
In fabulous vintage condition, he is well marked on the reverse and measures 2" in diameter. The brooch weighs in at 16 grams. The pin features a simple rollover clasp in perfect working order. The warm silver patina which has built up in the recesses serves to highlight the sculptural quality of the piece. This is a quality seen in Mexican Silver which to my eye at least seems to be rather specific to that geological areas regional silversmithing. Just a delightful brooch.
