Burgundy Leather Journal with Tea Stained Paper

From boundbyhand

Burgundy Leather Journal with Tea Stained Paper
When something can be read without effort, great effort has gone into its writing.
~Enrique Jardiel Poncela

This burgundy leather journal is 6.0 x 4.5 which makes it the perfect size for tucking into a purse or backpack.. The leather is soft, but very durable.

There are 120 pages (240 if you count front and back) of 124 gsm weight paper that has been individually tea stained and pressed to give it a rustic, old world look.

The pages were hand sewn with burgundy waxed Irish bookbinding thread. The use of long stitch binding allows the journal to open flat so every inch of paper can be used.

A long matching strap keeps everything together (with velcro). A bookmark is sewn to the journal and has a LIVE LIFE charm.

Journal will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail within the US. Shipments elsewhere are mailed First Class International Mail.

This journal listed is ready to ship and the one you see in the picture will be the one you receive.

I hope my journals inspire people to rediscover the lost art of putting pen to paper instead of sending a text message or email. Who really wants a love poem email?
