I threw this bowl on the potter's wheel from durable and beautiful stoneware clay. I cut each hole and added carved decoration to the outside. I pulled and attached the pretty loop handle and added pretty leaf stamp details. I made the matching saucer on the wheel, too.
After the first kiln-firing, I glazed the bowl and saucer in a glaze I call pumpkin - it's a beautiful speckled brown-yellow-orange color. The berry bowl set was fired a second time, and it's now food and dishwasher-safe. It's about 3.25 inches tall, from the bottom of the saucer to the top of the handle, and 5.75 wide, including the handle.
A wonderful way to wash and serve berries, the loop handle makes it comfortable to use and the saucer is there to catch any leftover water. A pretty piece to use and display in your home.
