Hay Loader Fork Rare Vintage Farm Find Salvage Rustic Primitive Tool Industrial Decor

This very old fork is from a Hay Loader used in the late 1800s/early 1900s. Our 1897 Sears Roebuck Catalogue shows such a loader with five of these forks on the back. They were moved mechanically to pick up the loose hay off the field, up the conveyor and onto a wagon.

The fork can be displayed in a number of ways as seen from the photos. Both the centre bracket and handle move freely. A wonderful industrial look with a rich rusted patina. Great display piece for the wall.

The fork measures 14 1/2 inches wide and about 15 inches long when hanging as in the 2nd photo.
