Sparkle and glamour- a perfect description for these fabulous earrings!
These earrings are lightweight and comfortable due to the teal colored wooden piece as the base. I bead embroidered with various sizes, colors and cuts of iris seed beads through the cutouts to make a starburst design. This is then surrounded with purple iris seed beads, then backed with black recycled leather and edged to give them a beautiful finish.
A fringe of graduated lengths dangles from these earrings, tipped with crystals. The twist bugle beads with an iris finish give an added sparkle.
Each tiny bead is hand sewn. The leather is branded with my personal logo, showing that you have an original OOAK piece. It also carries the Roycroft Renaissance mark, assuring you that it is made to the highest standards with "Head, Heart and Hand"
the main part of the earrings measure about 1 1/2" across
from the bottom of the earwire to the bottom of the longest fringe measures about 3 1/2"
the ear wires are good quality gold plated, and hook in the back- no more losing earrings when they get caught on your coat etc.!
