This mug, made from Wood Fire clay, was fired in a specialized kiln with a wood ash introduction. This firing technique results in the warm, rich hues of a wood-fired piece, highlighting natural texture of the clay and giving the mug depth and interest.
All of my glazes are high fired, food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
