I have a thing for numbers and these small enamel plaques are simply too cute!
They came from Germany and were likely used to identify the doors to hotel rooms or apartments.
There are so many ideas on how to use these – they'd look perfect on an old set of drawers or dressing up a storage basket. Or incorporate into your next mixed media/altered art project (I'm thinking a necklace pendant would be oh, so cool!)

They're in good condition given their age (which I estimate to be from the 1940s). The number 25 has some rust spots that might come off with a good scrubbing/soak in bleach – or simply leave it for that extra bit of authenticity! (see photo 3 and 5 for close ups).
