I do love the collegiate look of the 1940's and this pretty red dress is proper school attire! This sweet dress has charm and class. From my personal collection, this is one of my favorite 1940's frocks.
The dress is made of a sturdy red cotton with grey and black woven vertical stripes. The dress features a fitted bodice with darting for shape and a gathered skirt. The dress has short sleeves and a modest collar. The collar has rhinestone bursts and an attached neck sash. There is a long back metal zipper. The dress is in excellent vintage condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
