The fairy who lives behind this door is a lover of pink roses as you can see! The door was handmade by me entirely in polymer clay with the addition of a silver plated "door knocker" and a tiny little amethyst cabochon. I used fluorescent polymer clay for the window, covered with a layer of liquid translucent clay and lacquer. It glows slightly in the dark so that you know Rosie fairy is awake.

Fairy doors are a portal to the land of magic and only the wee people can open them. This particular door is meant for hanging on a wall using a standard picture hook and there is an integral notch on the reverse so you do not require wire or string (see photo). It comes with a description of the fairy owner and a secret scroll! It would make an unusual Christening, birthday or house-warming gift. In fact, the possibilities are endless but whoever receives this little fairy door is sure to admire the attention to detail!

This door measures 14.5cm (5.7 inches) tall x 12.0cm (4.7 inches) at it widest point, and is supplied wrapped in tissue in a black cardboard box.

The fairy door is meant for decorative purposes only and is not a toy. Please be aware that small parts which might break off could cause a choking hazard to young children.
