I've cut this handsome moose from a rich brown stoneware clay. I carved more details into the surface including legs, hooves, antlers, ears, and eyes. I used watercolor underglazes and a final glazing of clear to add a hint of shine. I have strung the moose on strong hemp cord upon a branch of oak, that has been oven dried. The branch has lots of beautiful lichen.
Branch is about 8 inches long and Moose about 5 inches across diagonally.
