Sorry, this item sold. You may also like:
A traditional chain, with tiny lollipops, or matchsticks in the front.
The matchsticks are firm, they do not "dangle" or move.
I wish the scale were larger, however some petite ladies appreciate this more reserved modernist style.
The wearable length is 16".
The longest "matchstick" is about 1.25".
There are 15 graduated sticks.
I believe there is a strong possibility that the stones are jade. They are attached with solder, so the material has to be strong to allow that kind of attachment. I no very little about jade, so you will need to use your own knowledge to determine. The photos can be viewed, I tried to photograph the stones as close as possible. The color is a "jade green", with a peppering of tiny black specks.
The spring attachment is marked "STERLING", so I am assuming the necklace is sterling. However, the "sticks" are made of another type of stronger metal.
No maker's mark found.
Patina as found, I will polish up the chain if requested.
