"The Nineteenth Amendment (Amendment XIX) to the United States Constitution prohibits any United States citizen to be denied the right to vote based on sex. It was ratified on August 18, 1920. The Constitution allows the states to determine the qualifications for voting, and until the 1910s most states disenfranchised women. The amendment was the culmination of the women's suffrage movement in the United States, which fought at both state and national levels to achieve the vote."
Sold WITHOUT a cord, this pendant is 1 inch by 1 1/2 inches in size, 1/8 inch thick and backed in matte black. Bail is a hand-formed copper jump ring large enough to fit over the clasp of any of your favorite cords or chains.
I created this pendant using coppery and gold polymer clays. I impressed the Use the 19th statement with old typesetting letters, hence the irregular sizes of the letters. This pendant looks like it has depth but it is mirror smooth. Polymer clay is a very durable plastic clay which means you will enjoy many years of voter pride with this pendant!
