All though this product is very sturdy and durable please use caution when handling, do not attempt to throw it or drop it and expect it not to break. The cement is very high strength not your typical Home-depot mix but its not Indestructible.
Finish on this item is a raw cement finish, I do this to allow the end user to use a sealer, a color dye or any other finish you may like given the lamp an original personalized look.
