Edna Ferber , 1885 –1968, was an American novelist, short story writer and playwright. Her novels were extra popular and included the Pulitzer Prize-winning So Big (1924), Show Boat (1926; made into the celebrated 1927 musical), and Giant (1952; made into a Hollywood movie).
My little Edna Ferber character is fashioned with a pastel yellow knit dress with greenknit scarf, tan leather belt, and a soft white fur hat. Her hair is styled with real fiber and all details of her face are painted by hand. For the final touch, a replica of one of her famous works is in hand.
All of my characters are created from wood, wire, and with partially clay sculpted arms and faces with fine painting details- all clothing made pattern free.
Edna is only 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm) a perfect little collectible!
