Sometimes when looking through cards, I find just a single word that really strikes me. This new line of mini pendant necklaces celebrates unique words found in our library catalog cards. A tiny 12mm (approx 1/2") brass setting holds one of the found words under a glass dome. Since each card is unique, each necklace is one of a kind. This one says "authors." Paired with a 25mm brass locket, hand painted with a cute retro typewriter and tiny red heart above it. Hinged at the bottom, instead of at the side, see photo 3 for a shot of it open. Perfect for the writer you love.
Words are secured under crystal clear glass and hung from an 20" matching brass chain and comes with the card it was cut from. The Written Nerd understands not every woman is shaped the same way. If you need your chain shortened or lengthened, I am happy to cut you a custom length up to 22" at no extra charge.
Very lightweight and comfortable. Water resistant (you can run to the car in the rain) but we do not suggest swimming or bathing with these on, since one element of these pendants is paper.
