Measures approximately 9.5" wide x 9" tall to the top of the bow and large rose. Each of these cottage pillows may measure slightly larger or smaller, depending on the stretch of the fabrics used to create the item.
This decorative cottage/house comes with a CharlotteStyle hang tag.
The main cottage fabric is a mid-weight cotton canvas decorator print fabric. I coordinated 4 other fabrics to make the roof, windows and door. Vintage ivory lace was sewn across the roof, along with a beautiful chenille braid trim, and I hand sewed 5 gold tone beads onto the trim.
The door and windows are machine appliqued, and I sewed a little button for the doorknob. Hanging from the doorknob is a little brass key charm. I added little pieces of vintage crocheted lace for the window shades and little flowers on each of the two side windowsills. The brown velvet ribbon bow adds extra beauty to the roof line with a gorgeous ombre ribbon rose on the bow knot on the front and on the back.
The finishing touch is a machine appliqued little cat sitting in one of the windows. I painted the tiny face and added thread whiskers.
The cottage pillow would make a wonderful Valentine's Day gift, birthday gift, Mother's Day gift or any day gift. It looks lovely on a chair, sitting on a shelf shelf, adorning a bed as a decorative pillow, etc.
All my items are stuffed with new polyester fiber.
