Rich, deep luscious burgundy red 9 mm garnet gemstones make up this beautiful bracelet with two 6 mm garnet accent beads, two 7 x 5 mm lantern starburst sterling silver bali beads and a 6 mm sterling silver bead. Garnet is the January birthstone. It is said that King Solomon wore a large red garnet along with eleven other magical gems (representing the 12 steps of Jacob's Ladder) in his breast plate to help him win battles and to keep him in touch with the deity. In the 13th century, they were worn to repel insects and evil spirits and the evil eye of others. In Egyptian times they were taken into the tombs with the dead as payment to the gods of the nether worlds and for their passage through the nether world safely.

This bracelet is made with a very strong stretch nylon, which is much stronger than the rubberized thread normally used for stretch jewelry. This bracelet is made to last, but if for some reason you ever have a problem, merely send it back and I will repair it. Because I want you to be completely happy with your bracelet purchase.

This bracelet measures 7 inches, but can also be made larger or smaller.
