About This Item
Porcelain Leaf earrings are truly lovely and lightweight. These dangle earrings are made from the finest porcelain and glazed in a beautiful mossy green, fern green and olive, they mease 1 1/2" in length. The ear wires are antiqued bronze and lever backs.
Each Porcelain and ceramic piece is created by hand, hand-painted and unique.
I only use non-toxic and lead free glazes on all of my designs, they are all kiln fired from 1800 degrees to 2400 degrees from 10 to 16 hours depending on the piece. Due to the variance in the glazes I use and to the firing process itself, gives each piece its own unique characteristics. No two pieces will ever turn out exactly the same. There are times when multiple firings are called for to produce more artistic and stunning effects taking up to 120 hours to complete.
These jewelry pieces are not only gorgeous, if taken care of porcelain and ceramic can last hundreds of years.
