I supply naturally molted feathers as well as eco friendly feathers. The naturally molted feathers are slightly more and come from a bird rescue in North Carolina owned by a woman I have gotten to know quite well. She used to live about an hour from me, I didn't know her then. She sells the feathers to support the care of her birds. All feathers are naturally molted. She does not grab or scare her birds to force them to molt feathers, as some other feather suppliers do. The eco friendly feathers are from a local farmer who raises birds for food. I sanitize all feathers prior to use with eco friendly disinfecting soap and I then dry them so they retain fluffiness. All dies are eco friendly.
