Stil Novo Design's swivel stool is entirely made of recycled oak wine barrel staves from discarded French barrels. Twister can be easily integrated in any room of the house as a unique and practical piece of home decor. Twister's swiveling top makes it a perfect combination of sturdiness, functionality and inimitable style.

By using the natural arch of the barrel's staves we are able to create this particularly attractive silhouette that can be combined with any style of interior décor, from the more rustic, to the modern and contemporary or even the oriental.
Top and sides are stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel and complemented with a rich cherry chocolate finish, while the rest is finished with a warm golden oak color. The seat has been skillfully molded by hand into an ergonomic shape to maximize comfort, making the solid wooden seat anatomically friendly. The top has a swiveling mechanism that allows it to smartly twirl in any direction when seated.

The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create. Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave. Due to the distinct nature of every barrel's band, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item. Each of our pieces is individually handcrafted, the barrel's oak is sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.

The top is about 12 1/2” at its widest width and about 10” at the narrowest X 13 1/2” in length.
Twister is 20” in height; the bottom is about 12” x 13 1/2”
