Greetings! I am a very sweet and shy teddy bear. I used to have a fun job holding cookies before they were to be eaten. But I am an old bear now and I might still be able to do that job for you, but I could do a lot of other things too! Let's see...think...think...think...I could hold other things or....um....yes...that's it...I could just sit in your nice warm kitchen and make you happy everytime you come in! This nice lady Mirabella found me at a flea market and brought me home so that you could let her know you would like me to live with you now. She cleaned me as best she could because she saw that I have a few stains inside me and she tells me that I have something called "crazing", which I hope is not a very bad thing because I really am a very nice bear! I do not have any serious cracks and can still do my job of holding things! I am a bit ashamed because I have two small chips, one on the edge of my insides (you can see in image three) and one on my foot (you can see that one in image five). Oh, and also, I have a rather dirty, um underneath...so sorry...most embarrassing! I hope these things will not bother you much because I would so love to come and live with you! Miss Mirabella says that I should tell you that I am 10 1/2 inches high and approximately 6 1/2 inches wide (Oh dear! I think I might have eaten some of those cookies I held!). Also, I was made by American Bisque, probably sometime in the 1930's or 1940's. I hope to come live with you very soon! (By the way, I would be the perfect centerpiece at a retro or vintage baby shower!)
