Star gazing in a midnight sky! This is art but functional, and the colors remind me of a star-filled night. Two layers of art glass were combined for this look. On top is a crystal clear glass that helps intensify the underlying iridescent midnight blue glass. The iridization creates subtle colors that play across the dish, changing with the lighting: deep blue, purple, aqua and green! I cut a soft lazy "s" shape into it to create pattern and movement. This fabulous dish is a piece of art in a functional dish. Display it alone, use it as a condiment dish, candy dish, coin or trinket dish, or whatever purpose you may have.
