A rebozo is a laboriously hand woven shawl. A traditional rebozo consists of a long and narrow piece of fabric that has two parts; the body and the fringes at the end of each edge. For three centuries the tradition of creating and wearing a rebozo has survived.
The prestige and popularity of a rebozo has turned into a Mexican symbol of femininity. Frida Kahlo often wore rebozos and many times she painted herself in them.
Measurements are 71 inches in length plus 11 inches of fringe (82 inches total in length), the width is 27 ½ inches. Is 100% Rayon in fabric content.
The rebozo is new and has never been worn, has tags from Gallery.
