The language of flowers has always been a driving force in the creation of my jewelry. For my new series, I am focusing on meaningful sentences which will inspire the wearer, and have a distinct message.

This necklace says : Trust in an Open Heart.
The flowers : Freesia- is the symbol of "Trust" in the Victorian language of flowers. The Larkspur is the symbol of "An Open Heart". The words of In and An are represented by fresh water pearls.

Sterling Silver, Pearls, Sterling Silver 18 inch chain
the necklace in the photograph is presently in a gallery. I am able to create a new one for you, although it will take 7 days.

The necklace is hand fabricated in my Portland OR studio. Each is individually made and may be slightly different ( even more special!)The sterling silver flowers has been pierced and textured to matte finish.

Pearl signifies faith, charity and innocence. They enhance personal integrity and helps to provide a focus to ones attention. Pearl symbolises purity and is known as a “stone of sincerity”.

**** I would love to take commisions on this series of work. If you have a special saying that you would like translated into a meaningful piece of jewelry through the Language of Flowers, please convo me!****
Flowers have always facinated humans - to a point that mankind has attached significant meanings to them… actually going as far as to formulate a language all their own called "floriography." This "language" was particularly utilized during the Victorian era.Flowers would convey messages of love or dislike depending upon which ones were given, their sizes how they were held, or also grouped together. They had a silent meaning of their very own, and could "say" what was not dared to be spoken.
