This is not your ordinary ballpoint pen. It is made of all high quality components and materials.
This is a beautiful totally handcrafted custom ballpoint pen. It features feathers cast in crystal clear gem resin by John Underhill in collaboration with Mike Trobee Pens. The feathers in this luxury ballpoint pen happened through a painstaking process where each feather has to be individually and carefully placed on the pen tube. It was then hand cast in a pure acrylic material to magnify the beauty and add durability for generations of use. John Underhill was judged in “Pen World Magazine” as “best in casting.” Every pen is a unique one of a kind pen.
I (Mike Trobee) hand turned the pen on a lathe, shaped it, sanded it, polished it, finished it, and waxed it. The pen parts I selected are extremely high end Platinum and black titanium plating. Titanium and platinum are known for their beauty and extremely long wear ratings. The ballpoint cartridge is driven by an extremely high quality “transmission” that twists to retract/unretract the ballpoint tip. Refills are “Parker” style and are available at most better office supply stores. The feel of this fine writing instrument is superb!
To finish thing off I have included a black pen case. This handcrafted pen will make a pen collector thrilled or will make a great pen gift for someone very special!
