*Lovely white and gilt (22k gold, I believe) porcelain set. Includes tea pot (no lid), creamer, decorative plate, 3 tea cups and 4 saucers.
*Sweet courtship scene, often called Fragonard style. 3 different loving couples are pictured. Saucers have a gilt band and gilt floral pattern.
*Tea pot is 6 1/2" tall, decorative plate is 5 1/2" in diameter, creamer is 3 1/2" tall, saucers are 4 1/2" in diameter, cups are 1 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" diameter.
*Very good vintage condition -minor defects are: missing teapot lid, creamer has small chip on back (see last photo) and decorative plate has no makers mark
*Marked STW, which from researching online, seems to be the mark of an unknown importer, exporter. If I zoom in the photos I read "Bareuther Waldssen Bavaria-Germany" and a crown underneath the STW label.
