This beautiful set is painted with a homemade custom color. It's a classy apple green. After painting I distressed them and finished them off with gold touches.
The largest oval has a small chip off the bottom, but you can't even notice, and it actually looks better.
This style and color would fit in everything from shabby chic to French provincial to Victorian.
This green is ooak. I have almost run out. I you want something painted in this color let me know right away.
You can use these for their intended use, or for a wall full of lovely empty frames. They can be layered- you can put smaller ones inside larger ones.

(What makes my paint technique, unique. Each color is hand made. Some then are mixed with a treatment that is home made. This treatment does not do that crackle look you see that is not realistic. It causes chipping, flaking and clumping on its own.Once dry it becomes very hard. So your frames will keep this look forever)
I do not send my frames with glass, mirror, or backings unless specified. This ups the shipping dramatically, and can be prone to breakage. It is more cost effective to buy new backings. Also, there are new products that replace glass that are lighter weight and have no shine to them. Most hobby/frame stores carry them.
Many of the old backings are in bad shape. The added shipping would be better used in having them professionally framed, or DIY.
I do not break up large frame groupings.
