Salt Cedar is a bushy tree with roundish root ball (an invasive species introduced on this continent in the 1800s). This tree was uprooted by a flood in Lincoln County, New Mexico - 2009 - and the landowner pushed it aside in a pile to be burned. We had the chance to purchase what was left of it and we hauled it back to the shop. The unique burled bark and vibrant colors had to be preserved! We turned part of this once gnarled tree into a OOAK stump fit for any living space in your home. Foot stool, side table, art pedestal, the applications are endless - you choose the best use for your home!
We've leveled, kiln dried, cleaned and polished the top and added low VOC wax finish to protect this unique organic expression from the elements.
