Are you at that age where you need reading glasses? Well, I am. And I'm constantly setting them down and then searching for them! But, I don't want to wear those beaded chains that remind me of Grandma (sorry Grandma). So this is my answer. An eyeglass leash that any aging hippie would be proud to wear. Or for all those younger folks, this chain would look great on a pair of sunglasses.
I used a natural polished 1mm hemp cord. Hemp is a natural, 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly fiber which becomes softer with wear. I have tied square knots in between colorful glass czech beads. With so many colors it is sure to match your entire wardrobe. This eyeglass chain measures 29 inches long. And (as an added bonus) I've made it so that the rubber ends can be taken off and replaced (they are attached with jump rings). Heck, you could even replace the ends with a clasp and wear it as a necklace, wrap bracelet or anklet.
IMPORTANT: Always make sure to pull the metal ring on the grip so that it fits snug on the arm of your glasses frame. Wouldn't want them to fall off, you know!
