"Ho! Ho! Ho! To the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe.
Rain may fall and wind may blow,
And many miles be still to go
But under a tall tree I will lie,
And let the clouds go sailing by."
-J.R.R. Tolkien

This lovely little poem is one the hobbits sing in Tolkien's famous Lord of the Rings trilogy. Hobbits are, of course, great drinkers, and typically consume their ale by way of mug, which makes this tall, hearty white tankard mug the perfect vessel to transport you into visions of Hobbiton and Bywater. Once there, you can sit sipping your ale along with all the other hobbits after a hard day's work, listening to Merry and Pippin sing this song in states of exuberant drunkenness. Of course, no one will judge you if you drink your tea or coffee from it as well.

Perfect for regulars at the Green Dragon.

All of my work is done with heat-set ceramic paint, and will do very well with dishwashers and the ordinary passage of time. I would, however, recommend against the use of strong abrasives.
