This is such a lovely brooch - it's big (look at it next to the quarter) and the metal work is incredibly intricate. I'm sure that in it's day this was a top of the line brooch worn by a very wealthy woman. The overall brooch was in good shape when I found it - especially when you consider it's over 100 years old - but the stones all had to be replaced. I set it with a combination of new and vintage Swarosvki rhinestones in fuchsia and fuchsia ab. Fuchsia and silver are a great color combination.
Pin back is in great working condition.
