Most of the woods we use have been saved from someones burn pile or from being discarded into the landfill. We like the idea of turning something that wasn't going to be used into something beautiful and useful.
The woods we have reclaimed are really quite beautiful and the colors are amazing! We never use stain on any of our work. We only use a clear gloss lacquer to make the natural beauty of the wood come out.
The cross itself is about 7/8' wide and 1 3/4' tall. The nylon cord is about 35" long but because you tie it on yourself you can adjust the length to whatever suits your needs.

The color of cord is tan. It also comes in teal, dark brown, variegated brown and black. If you would like a different color, please let us know when you order so we can make the change for you.
