This one-of-a-kind book is upcycled from a vintage 1930 edition of, "French, Book One", by Ina Bartells Smith, a French language textbook, which included info about people, places and the culture of France. I have included 20 pages from the original book, including a color map of France, and black and white photos on almost every page, interleaved between 60 blank sheets of off-white paper.

This would make a great gift for a traveler to France, a French teacher, or a student of French history or literature, or anyone who loves vintage books!

The blank paper consists of 60 sheets of acid-free, 25% cotton, 24 lb. off-white paper, which is smooth enough to write and sketch upon easily. It's all bound with a sturdy, wire coil binding that allows the book to lie flat. Measures approximately 6 1/2" x 9 1/4" (including wire binding). The book's covers show some wear, which is part of the nature and character you find with a previously loved, recycled book.

The perfect book for use as a travel journal or scrapbook, or to fill with brilliant ideas, doodles, travel notes, secret thoughts, spontaneous sketches, dream journal, keeping score on game night, poetry journal...?
