Great mid-century styling and colors--this lamp has loads of possibilities! The darkest brown pressed wood column is punctuated with rows of bright orange ceramic "tiles." The lamp is capped at top and bottom by walnut fittings. At once simple and stylized!

CONDITION:

This fabulous lamp is in very good vintage condition. There is no evidence of damage or repair. As with so many assembly-line produced mid-century products, the orange glaze shows inconsistencies and is thin in some places--noticeable only upon inspection. The wood is in excellent condition throughout. Age appropriate patina on the brass outer socket and harp.
The lamp is vintage and so is the wiring. Rewire is included in the cost of purchase. See below.

RE-WIRE INFORMATION:

***All lighting restored in my LVL workshop receives a full rewire. It is part of the restoration process and included in your purchase price. Each rewire includes all new cord, plug, as well as a completely new internal electrical socket in almost all cases. (If you feel strongly about retaining original wiring and parts for the sake of authenticity, please send me an email or Etsy convo as soon as you make your purchase so that we may discuss it further.)
~I use brand new, high quality electrical components and lamp parts (very often an improvement over the original)—never pre-packaged lamp kits!
~Once you have made your purchase we will discuss your preference, but lamps that benefit from the retention of the OUTER SOCKET CASING, especially if the socket bears the sticker of the original designer or manufacturer, my default option is to salvage the outer socket casing but replace its old electrical components with brand new components. If you prefer brand new socket casings, just say the word!
