Height: 30cm to 60cm (36inches to 24inches).
Flowering: From early to late summer.
Where to plant info
Tickseed are exceedingly tolerant of hot, dry conditions. So they are ideal if your garden is “sun-baked”.
Don't water them to often, once a week should be enough to keep them looking healthy and in full flower.
If your garden receives long periods of hot blistering sun this a plant you have just got to have.
So make sure you put it very near the top of your must have plants list.
Even if you only receive moderate amounts of sun Tickseed is a plant to have!
Remove faded flowers as this will encourage new blooms to grow.
Where: Ideal for front of borders and general bedding.
Tickseed are perfect plants for wildlife gardens as they attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
They are excellent as cut flowers.
Site: Tickseed prefer full sun, they thrive in it!
Soil: Any rich and free draining soil.
