A gorgeous satin blue glass lidded dish with a classic pedestal compote style in elegant mid-century design. The traditional diamond point design gives this dish true elegance. This piece is perfect for your vintage colored glass collection, vintage home kitchen, office, or even wedding decor!
This dish is in great used vintage condition with no cracks. There are two very tiny chips that I've noticed, and that was only upon extremely close inspection. One chip resides at the edge of a diamond point on the body of the dish, and the other chip is on a flat trim area toward the top of the lid.
Both chips are shown in the third and fourth photos. I'm confident in saying, though, that with normal display or use, these chips are not noticeable and do not diminish the overall beauty of this piece! It is truly a gorgeous dish.
The interior is clean.
This dish is not marked by a manufacturer, but most likely made by Indiana Glass company, circa 1970's.
Including the lid, this dish measures 12" tall. The diameter of the bowl measures 5.5" across, and the bowl itself is about 2.25" deep. It is quite a heavy piece, weighing in at a solid 3 lbs.
Domestic via USPS Parcel Post, insurance included.
International via USPS Priority Mail (it is too large and heavy for First Class).
